Crystal Reports XI Release 2 is only required in four specific cases:
- If you need Visual Studio 2005 compatibility
- If you need to connect to universes in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2
- If you use a third-party product that includes a custom Crystal Reports menu
- If you use an Integration Kit (Peoplesoft, SAP, Baan, Siebel) in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2
If none of these cases applies to you, you do not require Crystal Reports XI Release 2; you can continue to use Crystal Reports XI Release 1. If you are using Crystal Reports in conjunction with BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Server, Crystal Reports must be the same version as these products. You cannot use Crystal Reports XI Release 2 with BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 1 or Crystal Reports Server XI Release 1.
Instructions
1. Download Crystal Reports XI Release 2 with Service Pack 2 - ZIP File - 1.03GB *
2. Find out what your keycode is by clicking Help > License Manager in Crystal Reports XI Release 1.
3. Install the software, and enter your Crystal Reports XI Release 1 keycode.
This software includes all supported languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and Spanish.
4. Install the service packs. You can get them here.
